Day 1 - The Purpose and Role of the Supervisor/The Financial Impact of the Supervisor

• Identify the six core attributes of leadership and how to project them 
• Explore 16 key truths about daily leadership skills and ways to implement them
• Practice using appropriate legal and engaging language with employees
• Strengthen your understanding of the importance of trust and how to gain it 
• Recognize costs and discover proactive strategies to influence them 
• Identify the seven wastes in manufacturing and operational settings
• Create approaches to counteract costs associated with waste
• Learn tools and methods for performing production math

Day 2 - Communication/Daily Skills 

• Define effective verbal and written communication habits
• Identify key elements of productive and purpose-driven meetings
• Explore tools to help you cascade goals and actions that drive accountability 
• Review how to conduct an effective Action Review Cycle
• Discuss strategies to get the most out of your team
• Explore the various roles supervisors play (e.g., decision-maker, "firefighter," etc.) 
• Practice using a tool to map out a day in the life of a supervisor
